    Overview

    Arkane Studios, part of the ZeniMax Media Inc. company, is seeking a talented Environment Artist to join our team in making AAA games. The ideal candidate will have some experience with Next-Gen asset creation, high poly/low poly modeling, and texture creation.

    Responsibilities

    • Model and texture 3D assets for use in the game engine based on concept art or inspirational reference materials
    • Align his deliverables through Art Direction using standards set by the game’s style in his modeling and textures
    • Solicit feedback from the Lead Environment Artist, Art Director and Level Artists to accommodate gameplay and art features into the environment

    Qualifications

    • Solid experience in environment asset creation using contemporary, real-time rendering methods
    • Understanding of modern 3D modeling packages
    • Be autonomous, strong in terms of proposals and comfortable in seeking references
    • Solid team player with strong work ethic and cooperative attitude
    • Self-motivated and focused worker with good communication and collaboration skills
    • Willingness to undertake technical R&D related to game environments creation

    Preferred Skills

    • Game industry experience
    • Console development experience
    • Passion for gaming, First Person Shooters in particular
    • Experience with Substance Painter and Designer
    • Experience with Maya and ZBrush
