MachineGames is looking for an analytical Monetization designer. In this role you will become part of a cross-functional team, building a game from the drawing board through launch. You’ll be working closely with artists, designers, and engineers, both locally as well as overseas.
Our studio is located in central Uppsala, Sweden which is a small and vibrant city 30 minutes north of Stockholm with a historical heritage reaching back to pre-medieval times. It also has the oldest and one of the largest universities in northern Europe.
This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible. We will support your relocation and/or application for work permit if you have a non-EU passport and/or not currently residing in Sweden.
Develop and manage the economy/monetization components to meet player expectations and creative directions
Coordinating closely with production and other departments to define KPIs and help meet projects goals
Design game features that monetize and re-engage players in a consumer-friendly way
Monitor game KPIs, mostly related to revenues and identify monetization opportunities
Drive initiatives for healthy and acceptable monetization in our game
Support the monetization team in driving regular updates to the in-game store
Work with analytics team to review the success of current systems and initiatives as well as propose new solutions
Be up to date with the monetization strategies in the industry, understanding their strengths and weaknesses. Choose appropriate one for our games and promote them within the team
Propose well documented and justified prices, promotions and offers
Experience with data visualization tools
Shooter and/or RPG game experience
Experience in multiplayer games
Strong mathematical, statistics, and analytical skills
