Overview

Bethesda Softworks is seeking an experienced Producer to join our growing team and help shape our digital marketing presence. The Producer directly manages the process and workflows of a development team, facilitates communication across the business, mitigates risks and helps to ensure that the team hits its development goals.

 

A strong candidate has experience working with scrum or agile development teams. Excellent candidates have worked on long term projects with cross-functional teams that have consistently delivered value.  All candidates are energized by the challenge of creating and fostering highly productive self-organizing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create project plans based on requirements, high level estimates, and known risks and dependencies
  • Provide informed decisions with leads to determine best practices, development pipelines and resource allocation
  • Identify and remove roadblocks and create escalations as needed
  • Use appropriate tools to effectively communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, escalations and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
  • Create and update schedules and tasks
  • Coordinate code deployments and communicate releases with internal or external stakeholders and partners
  • Learn team strengths and weaknesses and appropriately utilize team members to complement and support each other
  • Keep team motivated and focused on goals, milestones, and quality
  • Intake engineer feedback and collaborate with team to continually improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs. Project management experience
  • 2+ yrs. Agile methodology experience
  • 2+ yrs. Experience working with QA
  • Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience with functional requirement creation
  • Strong project and people management skills and team building abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to changing priorities
  • Collaborative and team oriented
