The Cinematics Producer position is a key element and leader of the development process, working with team leadership to prioritize initiatives, schedule the work to be done, and drive each feature to completion 

 

Position is based onsite in Richardson, TX.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Cinematics Director and game development team to establish goals and delivery timelines for all in-game cinematics 
  • Develop and maintain a production schedule that ensures timely delivery of all cinematics assets, including script development, motion capture sessions, pre-viz, animation, visual effects, and sound design. 
  • Working with other Producers, Directors and discipline leads to define resource needs based on scripts, pre-viz, and creative pivots. 
  • Manage communication and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, art, audio, and QA to ensure timely delivery and integration of all cinematics assets into the game engine. 
  • Work with external partners and vendors, as needed, to secure necessary resources and deliverables. 
    • Develop and maintain short and long-term capacity planning methods 
    • Coordinating and managing creative reviews approvals, including dissemination of feedback to teams 
    • Daily correspondence with development team members 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful experience in cinematics or CG animation production, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and on budget. 
  • Experience working with large, cross discipline teams 
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills 
  • Extensive experience with common scheduling tools such as Jira, and ShotGrid including making new workflows, project administration, and dashboard creation 
  • Demonstrable experience working within a modern game development process or animation/film, including estimating workflow, resolving bottlenecks, identifying dependencies, and proactively solving problems 
  • Able to adapt quickly to change, communicate impact, and align the team with the new direction 
  • Act as a forcing function to keep the team moving forward and aligned with the creative direction and deadlines 
  • Work with other team members to create production best practices and ensure they are followed 
  • Confident, cooperative and positive attitude 
  • Self-motivated and energetic team player with a strong work ethic 

Preferred Skills

  • At least 1 AAA shipped title credited as a Producer 
  • Passion for video games and the gaming industry, specifically a familiarity with id Software games. 
  • Experience with Jira and ShotGrid administration 
  • Scrum/Agile experience and/or certification 
  • B.S. or equivalent education in related fields 

Salary Range

Cinematic Producer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 - $140,000 per year.

           

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
