Overview

The ZeniMax Media Inc. Enterprise Services Team is seeking a Senior or Lead Infrastructure Administrator to join the team. Primary responsibilities will include the support, maintenance, and optimization of all facets of the corporate IT infrastructure at ZeniMax Online Studios in Budapest, Hungary. Our environments are both Windows and Linux, and this role will apply their talents to both.

 

This is a partially on-site role, with some flexibility for remote/hybrid work.  

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support all physical infrastructure for server room(s) and IDF’s at the Budapest, Hungary site.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support the storage and server systems up to and including the OS level.
  • Suggest and lobby for work on technical debt and non-functional improvements.
  • Collaborate with central IT teams and studio development partners to deliver the optimum hardware configuration for a given set of requirements.
  • Mentor local support team members.
  • Triage and support escalation point for the local support team.
  • Capacity management for on-site power, space, cooling, and other infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for the site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Infrastructure or Systems Administration.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise-class server infrastructure and computing systems: Servers in general and operations.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise-class network infrastructure and operations.
  • Good knowledge of Development Operations and supporting it.
  • Familiarity with hypervisor systems.
  • Clear communicator and active listener.
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English.
